Our Love Story

The story began at Frank W. Cox High school where Becca and Jefferson were teenagers with paths yet to cross.  However, it all changed when Jefferson decided to try something new and join the sound crew in the spring production of the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Here is where they first met, as Becca was Mrs. Beaver, and Jefferson was in charge of  managing microphones backstage.  During rehearsals is where they were able to talk and get to know each other.  Although it was limited, the seeds of their relationship had been planted.

The following year is where these seeds fully blossomed.  Becca and Jefferson found themselves in the same AP chemistry class with Laura Moffett playing cupid. The year started with them on opposite sides of the classroom, but as the year progressed, slowly they got closer and closer. Eventually, both minds became infatuated with each other daring the other one to make the first move.  On one snowy night in January of 2018, Becca courageously asked out Jefferson to go see Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.  The rest is all history.

Jefferson continued his studies at the University of Texas at Austin while Becca studied at Old Dominion University,  Although the distance was far, they have continued to make the relationship work and seeing each other when possible.  After graduation, Jefferson began to work in Midland, Texas and Becca started her Masters in Chemistry at Old Dominion University. They got engaged in May of 2024 at Disneyland after a long 6 years. 

We are overjoyed to invite you to celebrate our wedding on November 7, 2026. Our journey has been filled with magic, adventure, and an unbreakable bond, and we are excited to share this new chapter with our beloved family and friends.
